Fighting Skools of the Flaeness

Has anyone ever used any of these skools that were found in the `98 Dragon Annual?

I tried to. But the system wasn't all that cohesive. Since 3.5, what I've done is use them as organizations for contacts, reputation and so on, especially the Yeomanry Spear school. I just operate them rather like the Seekers or Dawntreaders...some of the groups that have shown up in 3.5 materials and Dungeon magazine.

This sounds like something that would be very useful for martial arts in my hero conversion of greyhawk. Does anyone know if the material is still available?

(i'll check Paizo first)

cosmosemeritus, you could use the school/dojo model as found in the d20 L5R material to update these schools if you feel up to it. I haven't looked into the article to see if any of the organizations have been mentioned since 1998, but it's likely at least one has. Check Zavoda's index...
