Plains of the Paynims

Were any official Greyhawk modules/adventures set in either the Plains of the Paynims, Ekbir, Zeif or Tusmit?

Thanks in advance. Smile

As to official published adventures, none were placed in this oft ignored corner of the Flanaess. There are many Living Greyhawk adventures set in these locations though, but I don't think it is very easy to get hold of these adventures now.

There are couple of adventure series which adapt easily to these areas. The first series is series made up of modules I3-15:

I3: Pharaoh http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharaoh_(module)

I4: Oasis of the White Palm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oasis_of_the_White_Palm

I5: The Lost tomb of Martek http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lost_Tomb_of_Martek

These were compiled as the "Desert of Desolation" supermodule which has a bunch of nice added bits, and which may be downloaded here for a pittance:

This series was loads of fun to go through, and I recommend the supermodule over the individual modules(as good as they are) due to the many improvements that were made to the series in the supermodule.

The next series I would recommend is even older, and the modules are:

X4: Master of the Desert Nomads

X5: Temple of Death

http://paizo.com/store/byCompany/w/wizardsOfTheCoast/byProductType/roleplayingGames/dungeonsDragons/classicDAndD/adventures/v5748btpy7mwy&source=search

This is a fun series too, with all sorts of weirdness that can be uniquely converted to other game editions, or used very closely as is(I'd toughen up a few things though). This ought to get you started on the right track for a lot of gaming mayhem in the northwestern Flanaess.

Good list Ceb, and don't forget B4: The Lost City http://paizo.com/store/downloads/wizardsOfTheCoast/classicDAndD/adventures/v5748btpy7mun, which was also the setting (sort of) for new 3.5 adventure in Dungeon # 142, still available in hardcopy from Paizo http://paizo.com/store/byCompany/p/paizoPublishingLLC/dungeon/issues/2007/142.

B4 takes place in the Sea of Dust(in most people's minds), not the Baklunish lands, so I purposely forgot it. Wink

D'oh! I can't believe I forgot I9: Day of Al'Akbar.

Well, I like the other adventures better anyways! Laughing
