Fellow Greyhawkians,
I can't tell you how excited I was to find Canonfire...to find out that Greyhawk lives! It has been 24 years since I last visited Greyhawk. My 4 year old son recently found my old Darlene map while we were cleaning out a closet. He is a train nut but also loves pirates and maps. He envisions a vast railroad across the Flanaess and pirate ships infesting its waters all around. Sounds good to me! Anyway, it has stirred some old adventuring spirit deep down. Time to oil the armor and sharpen the blade! And with the fact that we are traveling back to China in less than a month to adopt our second son (also 4), my wife only rolls her eyes and says...."great, I'll have a house full of nerds." I can live with that!!! I guess it may be a couple years before the boys are ready....but I can use the time to prepare!
An impressive site folks...can't wait to dig in! Nicely done!
