Timeline for WoG to LGG?

Does anyone know if there is a timeline written for the years between World of Greyhawk (576 CY) to the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer (591 CY) ala p9 of WoG?

When I start my next campaign I'd like to start at 576 with TOEE and would like to guide things along the history line as much as possible, but don't want to have to go through LGG and construct a timeline on my own. ;') I'm getting too old and busy to do the work if I can at all avoid it!

Thanks,

James.

I'm really not sure what you are asking.

Are you just looking for a timeline of important events, or a sourcebook detailing those years?

From what I gather it looks as if perhaps Steve Wilson's Grey Chronodex may help?

Wow. I had heard of this timeline but never read it until now. Wilson's footnote explanation of what is canon was essential too.

GreyChronodex for Canonfire?

If Steve's site can handle the stampede (and he's OK with it obviously), might it be a throught to put this link sowmehere prominantly on the Canonfire site sidebar or somewhere else where it's easy to find?

Or even hosting it on the site somewhere (again if it's cool with Steve)?

This is one of the single most useful resources there is for Greyhawk, but Google, even without MyDoom flinging viral spanners into the virtual works, has terrible trouble finding it.

I've just learned that we've had Steve Wilson's permission to have the Grey Chronodex here on CF all along, so I'll be working on it over the next few days inbetween my other projects and hopefully after a final approval from Gary, it'll be ready to go public Wink

What Mortallan said, but perhaps more so. Happy

Will this be the new version with the LGJ stuff or the old v4.x?

Whichever, praise be Mr Wilson (and our resident Fiend Sage for doing the leg/web work)!

It'll be the same version I had linked to, 4.1... That his the newest version of his work to my knowledge.

Hey all,

As was previously stated, Canonfire has had permission to use the GreyChrondex in the best fashion possible for the site for quite a while...the big sticking point is the size of the thing! I am working on the newest incarnation that includes all of the dates from LGJ and other "quasi-" official materials. Actually, it was the history of Greyhawk that was one of the initial driving motivations for the Oerth Journal #1, and that really got me involved with the Council of Greyhawk, TSR/WotC, etc.

Although I'm all for individual development of Greyhawk in home campaigns, I also obviously like a base-line for the shared world....I hope the GreyChrondex can help serve as part of that! Thanks for your interest in this thing!
