I'm interested in what people thought of the seven-part novella I posted here recently, wherein I bring together the group of adventurers I've been writing about for a while. In particular, I'm interested in their thoughts as regards the characterization and plotting-were the characters believable and likable? Did the plot progress believably? Was it too obvious that it was based on a fantasy game, or is it someone not familiar with D&D could still get into?
I'm more of a writer than a gamer, so feedback would be very much appreciated.
Yes, it's the sequel to the "Origins of the Silver Wolf" piece I posted a while back. This one has both smaller groups of companions eventually meeting and uniting into a larger party.

Read the story, I thought it was a nice attempt to reconcile the gathering of the Silver Wolf, but I do have two things:
First, a little too much "introspection" for a single article. Their personal reflections on the situation in the Bearded Lion's Hollow should have been spread out over a couple of stories. It was almost a little too much.
Second, the "Circle of Seven" suggestion. You wrote that like a Dungeon Master. What I mean is, very few persons know the Circle of Eight, or even guess at what they do.
I'm assuming that your characters started at "1st level?" The suggestion of the Circle of Seven smacks of an intimate knowledge that your characters shouldn't have.
Of course, this is just my opinion.
As I said, I enjoyed the read over-all. So please don't be discouraged by anything I say! I'm eager to see you improve and look forward to you're contributing even more material for our enjoyment.
