What is the Orb of Gerendelik?

I've seen it mentioned as having something to do with Zuoken? There's hardly any details anywhere though.

I'm planning a Greyhawk game that takes place after Zuoken is released from the Godtrap (after Exp to Castle Greyhawk) and one of the PC's is a Fist of Zuoken (Psionic Monk). I'd like to incorporate this item into the game.

Holy cow, I found a post by me like nearly 10 years ago asking for info on this Orb! I had totally forgotten about it! I had run across it when one of my PC's became a follower of Zuoken. There wasn't any info back then and it seems there's still no info floating around out there! It almost seemed like a throw away reference. It seems my 10 year quest goes on....

What do you guys think the Orb should be able to do? Something Monk-like? Something Psionic-like?
Maybe allow the PC to chuck a fireball sort of like Ken/Ryu's "Hadouken" from Street Fighter?
