Hey all,

We are putting together a half-page write-up on each country of the Flanaess to suggest countries to a DM who is new to GH for them to place their campaign.

If you would like to provide a half-page it would be appreciated. Some countries already have a write-up and some already have somebody who offered to help. But there are a lot left. Take a look at the forum for more information. What’s your baseline campaign date for these write-ups? Many nations change dramatically or don’t exist at all, depending on the year.

As a general guideline, any time between the original Folio and slightly after the LGG. Somewhere from 576 to 590 CY.

This is a rule of thumb due to availability of resources for a new DM to get hold of.

In the write-up a side note can be entered suggesting a different time period for a drastically different experience. For example, in the Gran March write-up a note is there for DM who want to run a Hateful Wars campaign (a fantasy trope of dwarves and goblins fighting in the underdark).

The spirit of these write-up are for DMs new to GH. So we keep it as simple and straightforward as possible for them to get their feet wet.
