Caliphate of Eternal Darkness; Kazurka, rivals the evil of Dorakaa. Emissaries of Gehenna, insolently stroll the cobblestone boulevards. Sadists sail beneath the broken black oar; whilst its sahuagin allies, ensure the mainland navies, seldom chase them into the easternmost islands. Regardless; unscrupulous merchants, routinely visit the contraband bazaar on Atios Island.
Initially; colonized by outcasts from the Ur-flannae. In isolation; Nerull, consumed them. Pirates and infernal cultists, shattered this stagnation. Nowadays; the tricolor pennant, conveys the cooperation between corsair, cultist and necromancers. Its barren bits of rocks; necessitates seeking resources abroad, whilst broken ones endure a harsh enslavement. Thus; continental conquest is pursued through negotiations with the Yugoloth. Its cultists, have corrupted an earthen node, enabled the creation of a sheltered harbor, to sustain this vile coalition.

Small balmy islands, surround a large forested central isle, a dormant volcano looms above its thick canopy. Pacified by the Satraps of Ghayar Khan, unwilling to abide beneath the continental paynim yoke, these resentful corsairs strive to reclaim a lost empire. Eventually; this burning enmity, provoked a zeifan invasion. Peace was restored, through punitive reparations and the repudiation of dromonds.
Plunged into poverty; slaves seized and settlements razed, except Zirat. Heaps of rubbish, litter its outskirts, often scavenged by the destitute. Yet; its southern commercial wharves, welcome continental vessels, whilst the northern naval shipyard, has deteriorated or so it seems...
Downfall of the plantations, prompted the rise of the merchants. Lately; golden blossom balm and scented woods from the Marsala Rainforest, contribute substantial revenues. However; the dormant volcano, serves as the lair of the Emerald Dragon, Gylzrisdos. Thus; corsairs must negotiate with its murderous wood elves, lest the creature awaken...

Largest of the island chains within the Dramidj Ocean, initially colonized by Zeif, but has since changed hands. Battle Beneath the Waves, shattered zeifan naval supremacy. Afterwards; civil authority vanished, when these island settlements, were hurriedly surrendered. However; the sultan covets the return of these lost Pashaliks.

Elsewhere; Azera, emerged in the central islands, through tribute to the Locathah Brine Clans, and welcomes corsairs. Cradled between the Oued Khoud and Taal River, this royal retreat, was targeted by the spiteful suloise, with the Invoked Devastation, transformed into a lonesome wasteland, enveloped by blackened hills. At its heart; lies the Lake of Death, a miasma wafts forth, oft alight with twinkling colors. Lair of the Sandworm and Malefort, Brass Dragon of the Great Erg, scorns visitations, unless the supplicants are exceptional conversationalists.
Clans of Janni, migrated to the isolation, but the environment has somewhat recovered, and eventually attracted paynim outcasts. Its sha'ir sultan, resides within the Palace of Fountains, safeguarded by loyal genies in Khaibar. Castanamir, an exiled coastal archmage, instigated a rebellion, which ended in an arcane duel. Sultan Amhara, slumbers as his victorious spirit soars in the ethereal realm. Come visit Risay, borne out of the historical frustrations of its peoples. Encompasses a port city, kasbah town, trade nexus, southeastern foothills and southwestern steppes. Furthermore; caravanserai, caravan hostels, supposedly inspected by camel riders, its celestial consignments travel the Silk Road, escorted by the centaurs of the steppes. Distributed from Kanak, eventually to markets throughout the Flanaess.
Celestial luxuries, chiefly silks and teas, a cornerstone of international commerce, monopolized by a compilation of merchant clans, known as Mouqollad Consortium. By all accounts; Sharif Siani Mehani Roxana, is a shrewd sovereign. Friendship with the Centaurs of the Dry Steppes, causes mistrust with the latest “Mahdi”. Essential to its cohesion are these celestial caravans, but the Chivalric Elven Kingdom of the Laressea Forest and the Dwarven Kingdom of the West, still wield considerable influence within the realm.

In the aftermath of the twin cataclysms; Unogondur, an imperial pretender, persuaded his supporters to colonize the lands between the Kina River and the Wadi Adab. Demise of Unogondur; Priestesses of Geshtai, assumed both spiritual and temporal authority. Nowadays; it also claims the Provisioning Port of Yif Qayah within the Qayah-Bureis Islands.
Its seafaring prowess is attributed to the recruitment of merran mariners, water genasi. On land; the northern interior between the Nain River and the Wadi Adab, remain tenuous at best. Reliant on the goodwill of the wereboars, whom have outgrown the northern woodlands. Favourable trade with the Spriggans, enrage the gnomes, initiating a southern exodus.

Come visit Mur; a khedivate, court colony, at the mouth of the Wadi Adab. Emancipated; the colonists claimed the surrounding lands, colloquially known as the Verdured Heights. Inhabitants, embellish zeifan influence, reassured by its terracotta golems, a localized variant of the clay golem. Its infantry, furnished with scale mail and footman maces, might receive respect but the massed spahis; chain mail, small shield, employing both lance and javelin, are enthusiastically hailed as national heroes.
Mur retains the title of Khedivate, whilst other colonies, thereafter assumed the lesser title of Bey. Partially navigable, Wadi Adab, enabled the swift penetration to control access to the Kibudah Pass. Beyond lies hordes of humanoids of Datak Urtag, known as Orcreich, hence the Alcazaba of El-Zulaf. Even so; it retains territorial claims to the southern territories, between the Nain River and Wadi Adab.

Industrious citizens, whom revere a pantheon subserviant to the Quetzalcoatl.
