Death Knight Mounts

A discussion on the Discord with Gary revealed this tidbit about death knights and what mounts they use, from something Gary has scrawled down in his notes for death knights to see the light of day eventually. So I reveal it here.
“Most normal regular Death Knights ride nightmares, as you might guess, as regular horses will not bear them out of fear and loathing. Nightmares are impressive and frightening creatures, with their flaming manes, which death knights favor. The best come from the stables of Graz'zt in Azzagrat. But as to the original ancient Death Knights, many have developed some unique mounts. St. Kargoth favors a chariot pulled by six nightmares. The Dreadlord of the Blemu Hills has raised a herd of Dragonnels and is known to employ them as mounts. Prince Myrhal has a herd of zombified undead horses equivalent to juju zombies. Lord Thyrian is known to use a pterodactyl as a mount, from a clutch he discovered in the Howling Hills. Sir Oslan Knarren, is unique in that he is still served by his original horse, Corren. The pale beast was so loyal to its master that it refused to run from when his condition became clear. It too has passed into undeath and is utterly loyal to the death knight. Some take this as a sign of Pholtus' pity, but One True Way, never sheds a tear.”
