Okay, I've been wondering if anyone thinks adding Mecha to Greyhawk is a good idea. I meant to ask this question on the Eberron discord, but they are disrespectful to me.

The reason why I ask is because of d20 Mecha. I read through my copy twice, and the writer, David Pulver; suggested using Mecha in a fantasy campaign. I know the presence of giant robots or variable vehicles isn't strictly Medieval fantasy; however there was an adventure (Against the Giants I believe) that featured a crashed starship. And one written by Dave Arneson that had high technology in it (Temple of the Frog).

I think mecha can fit in Eberron more readily than Greyhawk, however, the world of Greyhawk is one world where high technology or ultra technology can fit. Eberron gets around this with magical locations and eldritch machines. Greyhawk has a crashed starship. I would think something like from Escaflowne would work. Thoughts?

D&D module "Earthshaker! has something like this.

Earthshaker is a gigantic, fantasy machine.

I haven't played this module. The Command Deck has a command chair and control consoles. So it is operated by a team of gnomes unless someone can get the mind gem which allows for verbal control.

Ah, thanks! I didn't know Earthshaker! had a mecha. I suppose the gnomes make up the antagonists of the adventure. Now I remember, the crashed Starship is in Expedition to the Barrier Peaks!
