    Knurl & Beetu

I'm looking at this area, betwixt and between the Flinty Hills, the Blemu Hills, the Bone March, North Kingdom, Nyrond, and the Ardi...and not finding alot of canon info. I haven't done an internet search yet, though.

Any suggestions for products to look in, or websites to investigate? Is this a heavily developed LG area?

    thanks,
    nell.

Yes, there's a Living Greyhawk Knurl, and they even have a gazetteer you can download.

Or, at least, I downloaded it. I can't seem to find it on the web right now. I can email you a copy if you don't have better luck than I'm having.

Could you email it? Their website seems to be kaput.

Also, I finally realized the Beetu near Knurl (now known as Little Beetu) on the Dungeon magazine map is a typo, and the "real" Beetu (henceforth known as Big Beetu) is on the opposite side of Nyrond, which explains why I couldn't find any information on it.

I've adapted Necromancer Game's most excelent Bards Gate city book to be my Knurl. It's on the Harp River in my campaign (different maps I've seen have it on the Harp or away from both rivers - I felt being on the river was more natural).

The town boasts a Bard's College with a Temple of Lydia (from better times) and the trade between the town and the North Kingdom, Ahlissa, and Nyrond leads to interesting politics with Count Dunstan trying to appease both sides while looking for a way to reconquer the Bone March (or at least hold on to what little he has in the face of such ruthless neighbors).
