Is there anything known about this group other than that they made the Doomgrinder and fought a war of extermination with a rival in the distant past (8000 years ago)?

I'm thinking they might be a reasonable source for the Machine of Lum and the Mighty Servant of Leuk-O. Both seem the same sort of thing as the Doomgrinder and their juggernaut.

The Belching Vortex of Leuk-O appears to be the source of the Mighty Servent and probably the Machine of Lum, according to LGJ1. The Belching Vortex appears to have been an observation post by an advanced tech culture from a parallel world.

That's not to say that the Doomgrinder isn't one of their devices, but it doesn't really have the same feel to it. IMO.

Well, the DMG says that that Machine and the Mighty Servant were made by the same folks. The Doomgrinder itself doesn't seem exactly the same, but the text also mentions them making warmachines to annihilate their foes. It was just a thought.

*sigh* The extradimensional invaders card sure gets played alot in GH. You'd think this was a superhero comic, not a fantasy campaign...

Anyway, I was more interested in knowing if there were any other references to the Doomgrinder builders besides the module itself.
