    Tyrus's Location

Has anyone ever determined where Tyrus is located? I've heard of places as far away from Keoland as the Griff and Raker Mountains on Ratik's borders. And, I heard that Highport was formerly called Tyrus.

I was thinking somewhere closer to Keoland, like somewhere in the Lormills. maybe. More likely, I thought about Tyrus being in the Lorridges, closer to Vecna's former stomping grounds - somewhere the Knights of the March may have bumped into Vecna II's minions.

There may not be an answer, too. But, if there is a canon location, great.

According to Vecna Lives!, page 22, it was probably on the coast of the Pomarj. This is why some have identified it with Highport.

Before that, they were in the Dreadwood, which was in Keoland. They next appear in the Blemu Hills, I think. Samwise's timeline has the Eye and Hand manifesting across the Flanaess in a clockwise pattern, so Miro is in the Pale.

    Highport Makes Sense

Okay, thanks. This makes sense. I checked out Sam's Grand Sheldomar Timeline and found a nice little nugget therein.

Grand Sheldomar Timeline Part II wrote:
Highport in the Pomarj 305 CY: What (a group of disaffected nobles) did not know, thanks primarily to the extremely effective efforts of the Silent Ones to eliminate all references to it, was that their new city was built on the ruins of Tyrus.

I thought Tyrus might be closer to Vecna's empire of antiquity. But, perhaps the Knights of the March were too effective in their efforts in the north. Highport certainly makes sense and works well. This is interesting history.
