The Lake Aqual entry in the LGG mentions an account of 'benign, long featured men who walk on air,' or something to that effect. I was curious if this was mentioned anywhere else or if this was the first mention. Thanks.
That is an obscure reference for sure. AFAIK it's the only one but if I were to speculate its most likely meant to tie into the Vaati of Wind Duke-Battle of Pesh-Rod of Seven Parts fame. Either they're human with Vaati blood or they are left over Vaati from milennia ago. I'd look to paizo's Age of Worms campaign for some excellent Wind Duke ancient history-culture to develop this Aqal group.
