    Pre-invasion Bone March

Does anyone know of any development (canon or otherwise) of pre-invasion Bone March? My PCs may be headed that way soon, and I'm pondering what kind of infrastructure might still be present c. 571 CY. LGG tells us there were formerly "three town-counties, nine outland-baronies, and other minor fiefs". The town-counties would naturally have been Knurl, Johnsport, and Spinecastle. I infer then that there would have been nine baronial villages to correspond to the nine outland-baronies.

Do we know anything about these villages, or about the roadways connecting them? Even after a decade of humanoid control, there would still be ill-maintained tracks leading to ruined and abandoned (?) villages for the PCs to explore. Before I go creating all this out of whole cloth, I want to see if I've missed anything (or if someone else has already gone to the trouble of developing the region for me Wink ).

There is the Ravenloft novel King of the Dead that deals with the rise of lich Azalin and which is set in the Bone March prior to the invasion.
