I also posted this in "Other Systems", but it does not look like that section gets all that much love.
I built a short adventure placed in the the City of Greyhawk using the Savage Worlds Rules. It has its roots in a number of things, including the original Forgotten Temple and little bit from the Lost City of Barakkus (sp).
It occurs during the Expedition to the Ruins of Castle Greyhawk adventure. Enjoy!

Though I am not familiar with Savage World rules, I think you have some good ideas and the adventure seems fun to run and play.
Thanks for posting it!

Yes you are, you just do not know it, yet. It is nearly impossible not to know how to play Savage Worlds. Most people learn by accident. If you look at a character sheet, everything does exactly what you think it does. Savage Worlds is the bees knees.

It ran pretty well. The only problem was we had done other gaming that day. People (including myself) were a bit brain-fried. The middle "exploration" section did not get its due.

Amerigov.. did you do the conversion yourself? I've recently fallen in love with BFRPG and I was wondering how easy that would be to convert. _________________ Dymond

It is by no means a direct conversion of the old module. It really is an amalgamation of several things:
- The concept of the original module - lost/forgotten temple of Big T. All his symbology and effects of the altar were taken from either the original module or from RttToEE.
- The high level plot of the Prequel to the Exorcist - basically in ancient times druids built a nature shrine over an evil shrine to cap in the evil as they were not strong enough to destroy it. Their shrine was build deep in the earth to "hide" it from passers by
- The combo of evil pressure and some seismic activity (as hinted in the module in the ruins of Castle Greyhawk) broke the Seal, resulting in a corrupting influence in the church that unknowingly was built on the surface
If you wanted to covert mine, I think it would be very easy:
- The key to the surface fight is obscurement by the fog. The PCs have to kill the priest to "win"
- The middle section is all exploration. I had an old skoole thought process in mind - even with SW I was not giving the information for just rolling a Notice (Spot) - they had to say where they were looking.
- The key to the final section is a battle of Faith between the Altar and a cleric or paladin. For D&D, modifying the Turn Undead mechanic would work perfect. The rest of the PCs destroying the undead in the cave weakens the spiritual defenses of the Altar.
If you wanted to convert the original, I do not have any tips. My recollection is the top section really are just waves of attackers before you get deep into the 'real' temple - the Cyst and Altars, etc.

That's a nice little adventure! Very old school Gygax feel to it.
