The Evil that is . . . Bubbagump!

Since Cebrion has closed and locked the other poll, I thought I'd respond/reply to Argon and Dark_Lord_Galen here:

I also know Bubbagump is a good guy.

    And again:

Exactly, not an intended slight to Dave at all, if anything a homage to his pen.

Dave Coalter is a great guy and a "real world" editor, thus the great "pen."

However, Dave did a write-up on Bubbagump Grumblefoot in Postfest XIII entitled: "Bubbagump Grumblefoot -- The Halfling Horror."

Bubbagump speaks of his "past" and how he journeyed to the City of Greyhawk, from Narwell, adventured with some friends, found a small idol and . . . was changed. This is the basis of "That Infamous Key," the story just isn't finished yet. Wink

The idol -- hung on a string and worn around the neck -- was a religious relic of Dread Tharizdun's. Bubbagump now proudly proclaims himself to be a "hairfoot halfling Assassin of Tharizdun." He carries two envenomed daggers to accomplish his goals. Shocked

So, to clarify, while Dave is a wonderful guy, "Bubbagump" is an absolute "Horror!" Evil Grin

Click on the Articles link at the top of any CF page, scroll down to the Rogue's Gallery and you can read Bubbagump's tale in Parts 1, 2 & 3.

*Yes, I know you were referring to the avatar, but this was fun anyway!*

FWIW, I got that the comments wrt Bubbagump were a joke, but it did occur to me that someone might have decided to "help out" the BK. Oh well.

Incidentally, I never did vote. I was considering voting "BK", in which case, I would have made it a tie.

Like I said, I got that too . . . but I still wanted to have fun with it. And point out Dave's "work," by way of his Bubbagump Postfest. Wink
