Too funny. "Grey" is the British English spelling; "gray" is the American English spelling. Only a color (or should that be "colour" ) swatch company would differentiate between the two, but why wouldn't they? _________________ - Moderator/Admin (in some areas)/Member -

Curiously, due to the description of gray elves from the MM1 as preferring silvers among their colors, I had always pictured in my head the silvery hue as "gray" and the darker charcoal color as "grey"---which also fit my sense of how Greyhawk should fall in the middle of black and white: the land where Neutrals are king (so to speak).
And imagine us, all debating the subtle differences between these two colors---what a surprise! :D :D :D _________________ Allan Grohe (grodog@gmail.com)
