Post subject: Principality of Ulek
by Jay "Lord Gosumba" Scott
Campaigning within The Principality of Ulek can lead to multiple types of adventures, including combative, investigative, discovery, or political. This area allows for adventuring opportunities in a realm based in a Demi-human culture; in this case, Dwarves of the Flanaess. The lands in total of the Principality will actually vary depending on the timeframe chosen to adventure (pre-Greyhawk Wars, post-Greyhawk Wars, and alternate timelines). In addition, the realm borders very active, dangerous lands, and also holds the possibilities of sea based campaigning from its ports. The Principality of Ulek is home to Dwarves, Gnomes, Halflings, and Humans which allows for further specific campaigning in this extremely active area of the Sheldomar Valley.
Country specific resources:

Adventures in this country include:
- WGQ1, Patriots of Ulek, 1992; Defend the Prinzfield from an invasion by the Pomarj
- Working on behalf of the Prince of Ulek to combat humanoids in the Eastern Principality and the Jewel River
- Allying with the Order of Ulek to combat evils, including Humanoids of the Suss Forest & Pomarj, Assassins of the Dark Brotherhood, or factions of Iuz, Erythnul, and the Earth Dragon
- Maintaining trade routes to the Lortmil Mountains, the County of Ulek, Keoland, and Veluna
-Political maneuvering, scheming, and power grabbing within the Dwarven bureaucracy.
Adventures in nearby areas include:
- Hidden Temple of Erythnul, Vortext Magazine #8, 1993
-Original Slavers Series: A1-4; fighting against the original Slave Lords of Highport and the Pomarj
-Slavers Reference, Orcish Wild Coast: Pages 62-81; Fighting the Cult of the Earth Dragon throughout the area and their main City of Kalen Lekos in the Pomarj
- Joint assistance working with the Duchy & County of Ulek, Keoland, and the Free City of Altimira
