This is why homegrown campaign worlds are so much better. You simply take the best parts from each world setting and make it your own.

Just done some reading in http://www.oerthjournal.com/templates/beyondtheflanaess.pdf and I see "some" of these new lands are discussed in a small amount in the little book I listed above.
