    Oerth Wallpaper

Just recently I had to restore my computer back to initial factory settings due to a computer virus. I had as my wallpaper a full color map of Oerth. I believe it was a jpeg image. Now, I cannot find it on the internet. Can anyone help? Fireland was in the upper left and Antaria (?) was in the lower right. It was a very nice map.

    Thanks in advance. Smile

My Dragon Annuals are buried in the basement so I cannot quickly double-check, but is this the same map that appeared in Dragon Annual #1? Thanks for the link. I had someone asking about the "world view" of Greyhawk and wasn't looking forward to the archaeological dig through the gaming stuff (it turns into a major time-sink of flipping through everything but what I'm actually looking for...).

Similar, but not that one, Robbastard. It was more colorful.

    Thanks, though.

Very nice world map! So many places I don't know about as I have barely started scratching the surface of the Flaeness.

Absolutely! And I'm hard at work on that this very moment, putting in several hours on the project each day. It's taking its dear, sweet time, but one way or another it's getting done.

Duicarthan I have sent an PM concerning the map updates.

As part of the Outside the Flanaess Project; I have been working with several people to develop the celestial imperium - including several posters on this board for nearly a year. Bubbagump as the project editor is working himself into an early grave to complete a working edition.

I would hate to see that dedication wasted, plz respond.

This gave me the idea of using Greyhawk maps as wallpaper for my gameroom. I must investigate further.

Respnded via PM and no worries there nothing will be wasted on your guys' end. I just hate empty maps and filled things in with placeholders in the meantime. Just to inspire some ideas. =)

Glad to hear it - I can breath again Happy

I have completed a rough map of the baklunish west (Gulf of Ghayar) which I can send to you now. Rest assured we (bubbagump and I) are hard at work on the celestial imperium. Though it is a struggle given the volume of ideas - plz no more inspiration. However some aspects of the recent update might be incorporated.

Those are gorgeous maps. I'd never seen them before.

Speaking of game room wall decorations, we had two copies of the maps from the 1980 WoG folio, and we took one set to Michael's to get them mounted together on foamcore. Now I have this huge map of the Flanaess in my office. LOVE it!

LOL, mortellan! Until two weeks ago, I hadn't been in a Greyhawk campaign in EVER, so all I did was just sorta look at the map every once in a while and think how cool it was. Now that the game has started, though, I'm referring to the map all the time. It's a PBP game, so we've got stuff going on pretty much every day.

This is the first true home office we've had, and it's wonderful. We can stack gaming books all over the place and just shut the door to hide the mess when company comes over. :-)

How did you mount the map on the foam and all that? I was thinking of doing that as well, as I just acquired the Folio maps for my birthday and would love to hang them on the wall as one.
