new updates to grodog's Greyhawk site

So I started to work on my site again for the first time in ~3 years, and began by updating my Greyhawk Links page @ http://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/gh_links.html and my S4 page @ http://www.greyhawkonline.com/grodog/gh_s4.html

I have quite a bit more work to do to update the site as a whole (a bunch of old redirects were removed from RPG.net, which broke a ton of old links that were broken by usable via the redirects; they're not now...).

Anyway, while updating the various links, I removed several now-defunct links, and added some new ones, and wanted to see what other "essential" GH resources you guys would like to see added to the listing?

    Thanks! :D

    Allan.

I like to think my book is an essential Greyhawk resource. :)

Woo! Thanks for the comic and blog links Grodog!

That is Greyhawkery and Castle Greyhawk webcomic for those who aren't in the loop yet.

Spent some time reading the S4 stuff. Very cool and informative. I've been re-reading A1 while sitting on the throne, trying to really get a feel for whether or not Greyhawk was really what we would call "low-magic". I'm kind of itching compare the A1 pregens vs. what their Pathfinder builds would be at the same levels to see which version comes in more "low-magic".

Based on the amount of magical treasure available in the early Greyhawk modules, I never understood why people called it "Low Magic". In my opinion the magical treasure availability in these modules (most of which I loved by the way) gave an over abundance of magic items.

Over the coarse of the years I have been slowly trying to find ways to dwindle down the availability of magic and now I feel like I have gotten closer to reaching the point of "low magic", but that is something that is really a matter of opinion than anything. What is low to me is stingy or generous to another DM and or player.

Greyhawk isn't a low magic setting. Conan's Hyperboria is a low magic setting.

Good on grodog for updating stuff. Cool

Yeah, Feist's Midkemia would be a low-magic setting. I mean Greyhawk as low magic when compared to the Monty Haul campaign of Forgotten Realms. Anyhow, I'm curious as to what my examination of A1 pregens in PF terms will reveal. Hoping to do it today or Thursday.

I've used your S4 stuff A LOT!!!! I am almost done with running the adventure, based closely on Lanthorn's version as he started posting here at Canonfire. Boy, I wish he had posted more!

Anyway, good to see more work on it. I couldn't have done some of what I did without your info!
