And the other 4 of us?

Also, notice that the terminology was changed to favorite, not winner. The postfests are not a competition.

Ok, I will rephrase to "Congratz Brad on having the most favorite postfest submission."

A "tie for 4th" outside a competition? Ok.

If you'd like, I can have Gary go back and tally the specific totals, and assign 4th and 5th "place" to Mortellan and I.

See, BDPenney was the clear winner, with Duicarthan close behind. Then there were three articles with very close totals, which Gary had not assigned final totals and was about to begin doing.

Rather than waste the time deciding who technically was 3rd, 4th and 5th, I requested that GehennaChild be named 3rd, with Mort and I "tied for 5th", because, who really cares if I had a couple more points than, or vice versa. The decision was made to recognize and encourage the new postfest contributors, and both Gary and Mort (when I talked about this with him) agreed. Mortellan is well decorated in PostFest results, and my body of work on the site speaks for itself. I was more than happy to give credit to GehennaChild's excellent article.

So no, there was no winner, no prize for first place. Everyone's submissions ranked well in the voting for favorite, and the idea is to encourage everyone to contribute and share their vision for GH.

Indeed! And I for one cannot wait to see GahennaChild write again as well as other new faces to the Postfest experience. Happy
