One of the founders of our hobby and one of the most unsung contributors to Dungeons & Dragons, Len Lakofka has passed away at the age of 76.
Along with the many adventures, classes, spells, and rules he created, Len was also father of the Suel in Greyhawk, designer of their gods, and namesake of the Lendore Isles.
The value of his work goes without saying, but his presence will be sorely missed. The adventures of Leomund go on.
Yeah, I know this is ancient history (pun intended), but I was recently re-reading Erik Mona's "Baklunish Delights" from OJ 3. It ends with a teaser for Part Two of the article. Does anyone know if this was ever written?
I'd say no as I know I've seen people on this forum mention him finishing that before. Maybe if he is in greytalk sometimee I'll hit him up for his thoughts on the unfinished series. I too am interested in more Baklunish lore.
According to our files, the expnasion was never finished by Erik and
remains an open-ended thing to this day. Erik if you're reading this
and you stuffed this article away for a rainy day...its raining here at
my place. =)
