Hello All,
What do we know about these mysterious highwaymen? I am looking to use them in an adventure, but I know practically nothing about them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, including how you have used them.

IIRC, there is a detailed random encounter for them in UK2 or UK3.

Kenku is a variant spelling of Tengu.
If you want background on them, look up either name in any Oriental themed sourcebook. They are significantly different from the bland random robbers presented in standard D&D.

Nice point Samwise!
To make things quicker (which is not always better), Google provided: http://www.onmarkproductions.com/html/tengu.shtml
Some good there.

Does anyone know if Dungeon Magazine or Dragon Magazine has anything on them?

Hi. Dragon did an 'ecology of' feature on the Kenku a few months back. #329, March 05. It's the one with the history of Beowulf, and other 'mythological' creatures. And, there are some little Kenkus the Deathknell set for D+D Minis, too. Hope this helps!

There was a recent Dungeon also, involving the demon Pazuzu and kenku as well. I think it was one of the ones with the Greyhawk maps inside.
