Or the creation of the Rift Canyon, too, which is ID'd as a magical cataclysm in EGG's GH essay in Horsemen of the Apocalypse. _________________ Allan Grohe (grodog@gmail.com)

I would have to second the vote for the events in the Gord novels.
Tharizdun, Greyhawk, Oerth, Gord are all Gygax's creations, the Greyhawk wars were not ever apart of his campaign. As far as I recall, I dont believe he commented or speculated on anything that happened after 'his timeline' from his original works...
Good point, Phantasm. And it makes more sense that Tharizdun's release in the Gord books would be connected to Tharizdun than it would for the Wars to be connected to him.
No, not that I'm aware of. Jolly Roger Games published the book originally, and they do turn up on eBay/Noble Knight/etc. from time-to-time. I'm going to be reprinting Gygax's essay in an upcoming publishing project, more details on that front as things gel further :D _________________ Allan Grohe (grodog@gmail.com)
