Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk

have you guys seen about the upcoming book from wizards? it is supposed to be a 3.5 adaptation of castle greyhawk, but i doubt it will be any more than chambers after chambers of hack and slash, using the name "greyhawk" in the most generic way.

supposed to be out in august 2007, here is the official link:

Yes, most folks here have known about this new book for a while now. About 8 Topics down on this very same page is this thread(which was started 4 months ago):

Expedition to the Ruins of Greyhawk is due for an early release at GENCON this year(which is in August), shortly followed by the official release soon after the convention.

Actually, according to the designers, it's very much a Greyhawk adventure. About a third of it takes place in the City of Greyhawk itself.

Shocked ...only one? I plan to buy two. Everyone should buy two... Laughing

I hope they didn't "ruin" it... Wink

Such a long time to wait...well at least I can save enough for two by then.

    Cheers.

It was announced at D&D XP that this is an experimental product to test the gaming public's hunger for new GH stuff - so everybody buy one!!!

Regardless of it being a test or not, of course I'm getting one, because it is new, official WOTC Greyhawk -- this is, to me, the D&D equivalent of The Police getting back together -- in other words, finding a snowflake in Hades. I've already got it on preorder at Amazon.
