Anyway hope everyone enjoys! =)

Every issue of Oerth Journal is worthy of praise and this is no exception. I have scanned through this and it is truly incredible. Every page is full of useful Greyhawk material. Thank you to the writers and staff of OJ, you all did an incredible job. I have already read the end comic and now I shall return back to read this in more detail.

I can only agree, with the Halifaxgamer and Telemachus, very professional.

The art and maps are top notch too Wink

Wow. This one is chock-a-block of stuff that I can't wait to use in my ongoing EttRoG/Maure Castle campaign. I doff my spangenhelm to the good people at OJ.

My only complaint is a pettifogging one -- the copy-editing could have been done a little better, as words sometimes were missing and large blocks of text were often repeated. Outside of that, I highly recommend it to anyone looking foir their GH fix :)

WOW! That is one awesome issue, by far my favorite. I have a lot of reading to do but the art (especially the cover and the Uncle picture were incredible). You gotta keep these artists around. I really do like the idea of some kind of theme yet at the same time I'm concerned that potential authors would get put on hold for a very long time, especially when we only see 2 or 3 issues a year.

I have to admit my patience ran out on waiting....the effort that was put into it renewed my interest in the Oerth Journal. Great Job guys.

And by the way, I'm a big fan of the original Maure Castle. Hope to someday play the Dragon version as well as the contents herein.

This issue was themed due to there being a few related articles. There is still some free-standing material too, but Maure is definitely the focus. Regardless of whether an issue has a theme or not, OJ will always be open to all sorts of articles in any issue. It would be nice for instance to at least have a few artic type articles in the winter issue of OJ, but that doesn't mean the whole issue need be snow-bound. If a theme develops for an issue based on whatever submissions we receive, it will likely be highlighted though. We receive a variety of submissions for every issue, and we really don't have much control over what the topics of those submissions will be. We might make suggestions, but, in the end, it is up to the authors to write what they want to. I'd much rather have authors writing on subjects they are passionate about rather than tie their hands by telling them they must write something about topic "X".

Now I'll have to feed the hamsters who run my dial-up connection some crack so that I can download the final version of OJ #23. Then I'll look it over for cut-n-paste errors and other oddities. Go hamsters go! Laughing

The error is in the Seltaren article, I forgot to put the Seekers symbol in there, so the Seekers Lodge is printed twice! I should have this fixed shortly and back up ASAP. So for anyone who cares about the small error or is printing the OJ, give me till I edit this message to get the item fixed. =)

There are a few other minor things to correct. I'll send you an e-mail if I don't catch you in Greytalk.
