Am I imagining this ???
I swear I've read something about some folks worshiping mortal dragons in ancient times. Maybe in some article on Dragons in Grehyawk?
Also what about those ziggurats? Are there any ? Or did i also imagine that....

There is a ziggurat in the Scarlet Brotherhood that has ties to Tharizdun. I'm lost beyond that as to where ziggurats in GH are, especially those used in worship of dragons. The only dragon-worship I've encountered in GH-lore off the top of my head is the Earth Dragon, from 'Slavers' and their temple was underground. Maybe this was a home campaign element you thought of? Maybe someone else has some clues?

To Thanael,
Yes there was a great series of articles called "The Dragons of Aerdy" written by Joe Katzman that was posted on the old Codex of Greyhawk website years back. I managed to find a site that posted these articles. It is a german website, but the articles are in english. I am having hyperlink difficulties, so I will just put out the web address below.
The articles themselves are very well written and reasearched. They are excellent sources for adding dragons to the lands of Aerdy.

Thank you so much O-D! That`s the one i had in mind.
(A shame the codex is not up anymore.)
I even know the site. Good GH resource.
And it being german is no problem at all, I`m german too :-)
But the articles are all in english anyways.

I remember reading thos artcle a while ago. Quite good, and I actually based my current GH campaign somewhat on them.
My campaign revolves around an underground ziggurat that was at some point ages ago submerged in the earth. Now the Ur-Flan are attempting to raise the Ziggurat and reek havoc and claim dominance over the area.

From Artifact of Evil, ziggurats also appear in the ruined city of the Suss Forest. The city was once Suloise. _________________ "It is easier to milk a cow that stands still." Tzeliobas-Aristomenes, General Cleaning, Greyhawk Construction Company.

Oh, by the way
To all who are interested, the above mentioned link also goes to several other great articles that were once posted on the Codex; to include the infamous "Day that Greyhawk Died" song. Great stuff!
Again, the site is german, but the articles are in english.

Whatever became of the Codex of Greyhawk material? Is it mostly lost?
I stumbled upon a table of contents from the codex which i saved when searching for some saltmarsh material. But i only saved te table. and the saltmarsh map (cc2 by linda kekumu). Couldnt find it on the web though.
A real shame...
Same for the Saga of Saltmarsh modules U4-U6 by Jeason Verbitsky or Man of the Cranes site. All lost.
Oh well, from now on I`ll simply save every single bit of info i run across on the net...
