Yep, but I was trying to link their alignment C-G with what is known about elves in Greyhawk. The difficult part was the Queen in Celene and the members of the Timeless Tree. Having a Queen does not seem Chaotic to me, and the fact that the Priestess of the Timeless Tree is not interested in Iuz beating at her doorstep was hard to work in as well.
Plus, I then wanted it possible for Greyhawk players to actually play the race.
A lot of difficult facts to try and tie together into a portrait of a people.
