    I liked the information regarding the creation and characteristics of the spriggans more than the trolls! I also enjoyed the use of the gnome god Urdlen as a more active evil power. I will try to incorporate this aspect of the article in some of my gnomish adventures.

    This classic style troll seems to me to be more in line with the barbarian kingdoms of the north, so I would place them there rather then in the Sheldomar Basin in my campaign. I am not entirely sure I will use your troll concept, as I have a lot of humanoids already and the north lands are starting to get crowded. I may use this style of troll as an anomaly, with the gross green mossy trolls as the norm.

    I know how it is when you work outside the box, when it comes down to it, it is a matter of taste. But I like the classic mythological feel to the article. And while I may not use all of it, the effort is appreciated. Kudos
