Ha! I knew that one was coming eventually. Initially the green hexes around cities were to represent farm or civilized (ie. patrolled, settled) land, but I seemed to have drifted from that as the map progressed.
Taking a view upon it didn't seem bad, o I just left it as is.
Looking back, I probably should've remapped those areas, but what they heck, it's still a good map judging by the comments here!
