A Greyhawk Giggle
Posted on Tue, January 20, 2004 by Trickster
Braggi writes "Fresh from the celebrations of Needfest, share a fun song and dance inspired by a bit of paint, some little metallic people, and quite probably a fair bit of eggnog.
The Killer Kobolds loved it, they haven't quit singing it yet!

(Overheard recently from my living room, being hummed by a small, crazed elfin woman (who claims to be my fiance) as she painted *yet another* lead figure at Christmas):

THE SONG OF THE LEADS

On the first day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me,
A Prymp rogue in a pear tree?

On the second day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me,
Two wily hobbits, And a Prymp rogue in a pear tree?

On the third day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me,
Three flamin? mages, two wily hobbits, and a Prymp rogue in a pear tree?

On the fourth day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me,
Four shiny clerics, three flamin? mages, two wily hobbits, and a Prymp rogue in a pear tree?

On the fifth day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me,
Fiveeee raging dwarvesssss!
Four shiny clerics, three flamin? mages, two wily hobbits, And a Prymp rogue in a pear tree?

On the sixth day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me,
Six determined fighters, Fiveeee raging dwarvesssss!
Four shiny clerics, three flamin? mages, two wily hobbits, And a Prymp rogue in a pear tree?

On the seventh day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me,
Seven fleshy undead, Six determined fighters, Fiveeee raging dwarvesssss!
Four shiny clerics, three flamin? mages, two wily hobbits, And a Prymp rogue in a pear tree?

On the eight day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me,
Eight orcs and ogres, seven fleshy undead, Six determined fighters, Fiveeee raging dwarvesssss! Four shiny clerics, three flamin? mages, two wily hobbits, And a Prymp rogue in a pear tree?

On the ninth day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me?
Nine rubber animals, eight orcs and ogres, seven fleshy undead, Six determined fighters, Fiveeee raging dwarvesssss! Four shiny clerics, three flamin? mages, two wily hobbits, And a Prymp rogue in a pear tree!!!!!!!!

On the tenth day of Yule-tide my true love gave to me?
A LOT MORE LITTLE LEADIES? Nine rubber animals, eight orcs and ogres seven fleshy undead, Six determined fighters, Fiveeee raging dwarvesssss! Four shiny clerics, three flamin? mages, two wily hobbits, And a Prymp rogue in a pear tree!!!!!!!!

From the mind of Idun, brush in hand.

A nice effort, but I have to ask, do they have "yule tide" in the Flanaess?
