Derro are cool, I like the sword wraiths and you're missing Greyhawk dragons, but hands down above all of these is the Animus. It's tied strongly to GH lore and is just plain cool.

It's hard for me to separate the animus as a monster from the execution of the animus monster within the FtA Great Kingdom.

I think I would like the animus in general more if I had liked how it was used in the GK more, too.

It just occured to me that the Suel Lich is missing too. Then again, as cool as they were when I first saw them, I've only used one once, when the party was out exploring ruins in the Sea of Dust, so I don't think I'd call them a favorite though.

Anyone think of others we missed?
(I say we because although Issak created the poll, I was the admin who fed it into the site engine and activated it, I didn't think to suggest changes at the time)

Hi all-
I finally voted for my favorite, the Norkers...I didn't want to bias the poll. No chance in that.
I wanted to take only 10 monsters. Some that were most certainly Greyhawk, others that are Greyhawk but obscure. Others like the Quaggoth that was stolen and placed in the Monsters of Faerun 3e book. It isn't really all about the favorite monsters but the favorite monsters that are Greyhawk related and then later stolen (as in the Quaggoth) and placed in another setting.
I'm not against using monsters from Greyhawk in another setting but something like MoF - each monster is written to have a blurb as to its use in the land.
Looking back there are so many good monsters out there not are Greyhawk related. Maybe a new postfest will be started...creating the complete Greyhawk Monsters Guide.

Gotta love a race bred to be slaves, who now seek to enslave everyone else! Plus, the fact that every few decades they go on a jihad against other clans just to make themselves stronger as a race is kinda scary (in a Shadows of Babylon-5 sorta way).
