Besides he is a God that has to count for something. |

Well, being a Paleite, of course I'd vote for whichever Theocrat holds sway in your personal timeline. CY 591 it would be Ogon Tillit. If you advance the timeline a year or two, as Ogon is old and in pain,his succesor is likely Baslett. If you follow my steps for the Hegemony Wars and Theocrat Baslett's rise and global conquest and Inquisition then you'd see that these are steps in the right direction and Global Salvation in the Church of the One True Path. Although I don't follow LG much, I understand that Theocrat Baslett has changed his stance to something more pliable and uses a term I've coined, Hug-Your-Heathen, thus he would not be a suitable Theocrat of the Pale, much less of the Flanaess.
So, actually I guess that I vote for Theocrat Issak to be the supreme ruler of the Flanaess. |

Overking Xavener I of Ahlissa, no contest. A genuinely nice and caring guy one minute, and entirely ready to order the sacking and burning of an entire city the next. A clever, intelligent, sneaky bastard who has more coin than any hundred dragons you can name combined. Always ready to sign agreements and turn them the way he wants, and a master at telling the truth the way he wants, without lying. He has an actual humane side to him, which he's all too happy to exploit and manipulate for the sake of his nation and, of course, himself. Strong, decisive, wealthy, and oh so fiendishly clever. (User Info | Send a Message) | | I think it would be interesting for the Horn Society were to rise up again. The Horned Society would have many small factions across Flanaess of Devil and Demon worshippers slowly growing in power to a point that they rise up in various areas. The Horn society would crush Iuz and lull Furyondy and others into a false sense of friendship. They would work through assassin and thieves guilds discrediting clerics and churches, to be total affront to the gods and causing disillusionment and doubt amongst the population. When the time was right they would call for revolution against the churches and those who supported them thus conquering much of Flanaess leaving only pockets uncontrolled lands i.e. Celene or Yeomanry. The majority of rulers of Flanaess would become devil/demon worshipers and members of the Horned Society. There would be another smaller exodus to the West in hopes of reviving the religions of the gods and to rebuild to free Flanaess. Instead of a time of Desolation it would be a time of Disillusion and shame, a time when faith cracked. |
